Delete My Data

EmoCall is built on privacy. Here's what data we have and how you can request its deletion.

📋 What Data We Collect

EmoCall collects minimal data to provide our service:

  • Device ID - A random identifier for your session (not linked to your identity)
  • Session Data - Time Bank balance, Aura points, daily matches, preferences
  • Purchase History - Records of Time Bank and Premium purchases
  • Country Code - Detected from your IP address for matching purposes

What we DON'T collect: Your name, email, phone number, photos, contacts, or any personally identifiable information. We never record your voice calls.

📱 Delete Local Data

To delete data stored on your device:

  • Uninstall the app - This removes all locally stored data including your device ID and session information
  • Clear app data - Go to your device Settings > Apps > EmoCall > Clear Data

After clearing local data, you'll start fresh with a new session if you reinstall.

🗄️ Delete Server Data

Our servers store your session data (Time Bank balance, Aura points, purchase history). This data is linked only to your random device ID, not your personal identity.

✉️ Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your server data, please email us with:

  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Your referral code (found in Settings > Invite Friends) - this helps us identify your session
  • Confirmation that you want all your data deleted

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion via email.

⚠️ Important Notes

  • Deleting your data is permanent and irreversible
  • You will lose all Time Bank minutes and Aura points
  • Purchase history will be deleted (keep your own receipts if needed)
  • We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics
  • We may retain data required by law or for fraud prevention
